Computing provision

Standard resources
------------------

The following computing facilities are available to all members of the Department of Aeronautics:

 - Access to central ICT facilities (including an email address, computer account, OneDrive);
 - Use of computers available in shared teaching spaces (such as CAGB 203, SKEM 208);
 - Access to the department-managed Linux environment and compute cluster;

Available hardware
------------------

In addition to the common services provided above, some user groups may be provided with computer hardware as follows:

 - **Academic and Professional staff** are provided with a standard ICT-managed laptop or PC;
 - **Research staff and research students** are entitled to a standard ICT-managed laptop or PC, as well as any computing facilities supplied via their research grants (consult your supervisor for further information);
 - **Undergraduate students** are provided with an iPad and access to the ICT-managed computers in CAGB 205.
 - **Taught postgraduate students** are able to access the ICT-managed computers in CAGB 146b.
